William Rainey Harper College is located in the Chicago suburb of Palatine at the northeast intersection of Roselle and Algonquin roads.

The following map shows the Harper College campus in detail. It is an older map and does not show the new buildings. However it does clearly show the observatory and its location relative to the rest of the campus. North is at the top of the map. The observatory is located on the northeast side of the campus. Ample parking is available in the adjoining parking lot.
