Space: the Year in Review

Adler Planetarium, Chicago

A summary of the significant events around the world in space exploration, featuring a slide presentation by CSSS President Larry Boyle.

This will be a free event sponsored by the Chicago Society for Space Studies. The meeting will be held in Classroom A, located just inside the south entrance to the museum. By using the south entrance to access the classroom, you will not have to pay the museum admission fee.

In addition to the presentation, there will be door prizes and some give-aways.

Space Day at the
Museum of Science and Industry


Saturday December 8, 2001

at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago IL


A special day of space and robot related activities is being held at Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry. This event is being held in conjunction with the Space Age Robots exhibit. The day's activities will include:
  •   Talks
  •   Demonstrations
  •   A Rocket Make-n-Take for the Kids
Volunteers at the National Space Society information table will be on hand to answer your questions about our future in space!
